It is accompanied by a beta version of our new documentation site which provides installation and user guides to help you get started with the veraPDF conformance checker. The latest version of veraPDF includes the first beta release of our purpose-built PDF parser and validation model. It can be used alongside the PDFBox parser to compare the results. In addition, veraPDF 0.26 has a new batch processor that produces multi-item reports. veraPDF 1.0 will be released in December marking the end of the PREFORMA prototyping phase. PREFORMA has been invited to the third concertation meeting for all on-going PCP projects in DG Connect, organised by the European Commission in Brussels on 10 March 2015. The latest release of veraPDF is available to download in the PREFORMA Open Source Portal. The validation logic and test corpus of veraPDF 1.6 have been updated to comply with the resolutions of the PDF Association’s PDF Validation Technical Working Group (TWG). The TWG brings together PDF technology experts to analyse PDF validation issues in a transparent way. Immediately following the EuropeanaPhotography software seminar organized by partners GenCat and CRDI, a plenary meeting of the project was held in Barcelona on 30-31 January, again at the premises of Palau Moja.
