All Our Yesterdays, a huge success for the photographic exhibition!

The flux of visitors at Palazzo Lanfranchi was more or less continuous since the opening (11th April), but a boom of visits was registered on the 17th May during the European Night of the Museums. In this occasion the exhibition was open till midnight and almost 800 visitors crowded the vintage rooms of the palace where the photographs are hosted, in a truly charming environment. Europeana Space in Amsterdam: project’s meeting

Europeana Space is a very large project characterized by experimentation and creativity: in facts its main aim is to trail new ways of re-use for the digital cultural heritage, in order to unlock its potential in terms of business and creation of new jobs. Europeana Space Kick-off meeting

Beside the project members, participants in the meeting were the EU Officer Marcel Waletet and the deputy director of Europeana Foundation Harry Verwayen. The kick-off meeting was already the place to start the organization of the first public event of Europeana Space: the appointment is in Venice, in October 2014 with a great opening conference organized by the hosting partner Università Ca’ Foscari. Discussing the future of Digital Cultural Heritage

Main aim of the meeting was to compare experiences and ideas, to promote synergies and collaborations among the projects led by the attendees and to identify research spaces in the light of the upcoming new EU programme Horizon 2020. The meeting fostered discussion of a panel composed of high-level experts, coordinators of important EC projects in the area of cultural heritage preservation and enjoyment and in particular related to the digitization, cataloguing, aggregation and creative reuse of digital cultural contents. Lithuanian Art Museum, conference and exhibition about photography
