A report on scientific and research impacts to the European Commission and IMPACT-EV
RICHES for achieving impact through SSH

Unit B6 “Reflective Societies” of DG Research & Innovation of the European Commission (EC) is currently working with the project IMPACT-EV on a report aimed at evaluating the social, political and scientific impacts of SSH research from a SSH perspective, in order to illustrate the relevance and importance of SSH research in our societies. RICHES recently gave its contribution to the survey by delivering to the EC and the IMPACT-EV consortium a review of its scientific and research activities. Continue reading →

RICHES is on Net4Society’s website!

On 9 September 2014, Net4Society published an article on its website announcing the first International Conference of the RICHES Project, being held in Pisa, at the Museum of Graphics of Palazzo Lanfranchi, on 4-5 December 2014. Athens, 26-27 February 2014
“Achieving Impact” international conference

NET4SOCIETY organised a transnational conference which took place in Athens on the 26th and 27th February 2014 on the occasion of the Greek EU Council presidency. RICHES Project Coordinator Neil Forbes, of Coventry University (UK), and RICHES Communication Manager Antonella Fresa of Promoter Srl (Italy) attended the conference as invited experts. The conference was the occasion to launch and showcase the first set of EUDAT services.
EUDAT 2013 conference in Rome

The EUDAT 2nd conference held on 28-30 Oct 2013 in Rome, was the ideal setting to showcase these services and outline the roll out phase as well as to offer hands-on training. Discussions on the new set of EUDAT services were also a feature of the conference with semantic annotation, dynamic data & workflows addressed, a natural follow on to the Working Group discussions that were held in Barcelona in Sept. 2013.
