Between 8th and 12th of April 2013, EGI.eu and UK NGI, a partnership between GridPP and the National e-Infrastructure Service (NES), hosted the Community Forum 2013. The event, which was hold in Manchester in conjunction with the 3rd EMI Technical Conference, was very successful and provided a great opportunity to reflect upon the growing diversification in usage of the European Grid Infrastructure from across all research disciplines as well as the widening international collaboration that is taking place. The two-days discussion was held in a positive spirit of collaboration and covered both the impacts already achieved by previous projects and those foreseen in the future to be obtained by DCH-RP. The meeting continued with the discussion on the project’s activities, where each partner presented its achievements and plans for the next months. Digital Cultural Heritage Roadmap for Preservation (DCH-RP) is a Coordination Action supported by EC FP7 e-Infrastructures Programme, which will be adding more concrete results in the specific area of the digital preservation of cultural heritage.
