Food as European cultural heritage

On 18 June 2015, the countryside of Valdera (Pisa, Italy) was seat of an interesting international meeting, focussed on the role of food as element of the European cultural heritage (CH) and aimed at discussing how the changes within our society may have an impact on the wine & food traditions of a territory. Results of this workshop, held in the framework of the RICHES project, will merge into a public document, constituting the base of a policy brief addressed towards the European Commission. NALIS Forum 2015 successfully concluded

The fourth NALIS Forum (Sofia, 12 May 2015) concluded successfully, attended by many international experts from leading libraries and library networks, museums, universities and cultural organisations. Among the special guests, delegates of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture. Antonella Fresa of Promoter SRL took part in the conference as invited speaker. Lecturers (from Europe and USA) shared their experience in local and global collaboration (not only within the library community, but also within the IT community) in the framework of projects involving the digitisation of cultural heritage, creative re-use of digitised cultural contents and citizen participation. RICHES International Conference concluded successfully!

The first international conference of the RICHES project concluded with success. The event, organised by partner Promoter in the aristocratic venue of Palazzo Lanfranchi, was attended by over 150 people.
International experts intervened as speakers, bringing their valuable contribution and offering new cues to the project research. Continue reading

“Achieving Impact” international conference

NET4SOCIETY organised a transnational conference which took place in Athens on the 26th and 27th February 2014 on the occasion of the Greek EU Council presidency. RICHES Project Coordinator Neil Forbes, of Coventry University (UK), and RICHES Communication Manager Antonella Fresa of Promoter Srl (Italy) attended the conference as invited experts.
