STORM: a new challenge to mitigate the impact of harsh climate events upon cultural heritage

European Union heritage assets are extremely exposed to climate change and natural hazards, which threaten their integrity and may compromise their value. STORM is a new project funded by the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 Programme, which undertakes the challenge of researching new ways to improve the resilience of cultural heritage against the effects of harsh climate events, thus mitigating their impact.
