In view of the upcoming political elections in Italy, an appeal is promoted by several Italian cultural institutions to ask the candidates not to forget about the potential of culture for the future of Italy.

Preservation and access to the cultural heritage, support to the education system and scientific research, digitization, investments for the young people who wish to approach careers in the cultural and scientific fields: these are the main themes of the appeal.
