Novel 3D-HYEPRSPECTRAL METHODOLOGY TO ESTIMATE DETERIORATION IN PAINTINGS

Share

The objectives of the workshop are to disseminate the results of the FP7-ENV-2010-1-265151 SYDDARTASYstem for Digitisation and Diagnosis in ART Applications, which main target has been to develop a pre-industrial prototype for diagnosing the deterioration on movable assets by the acquisition of 3D-hyperspectral imaging through scanning non-destructive techniques. Such images contain spectroscopic information of the piece to be analysed in different bands of the spectrum, giving chemical composition information of the different materials and layers in the actual 3D surface by means of a very narrow screening bandwidth and the use of volumetric digitisation.

International Survey on Advanced documentation of 3D Digital Assets
The e-documentation of Cultural Heritage (CH) assets is inherently a multimedia process and a great challenge, addressed through digital representation of the shape, appearance and conservation condition of the heritage/cultural object for which 3D digital model is expected to become the representation. 3D reconstructions should progress beyond current levels to provide the necessary semantic information (knowledge/story) for in-depth studies and use by researchers, and creative users, offering ...
